Employee App Guarantees Information Flow During the Corona Period

Initial Situation

Pro Senectute beider Basel, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the well-being of older people in the Basel-Stadt and Baselland regions, sought to foster intergenerational solidarity and positively influence social developments. The organization, comprised of over 100 permanent employees and 400 freelancers, aimed to provide services that help older individuals live independently at home for as long as possible. However, internal communication, particularly with freelancers and volunteers, posed a challenge, especially during the rapidly changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objectives

This replaced the previously used email communication system, which often led to important messages being overlooked.
